We are excited to announce our fourth annual Tea Party! The Columbia College Child Development Department invites you to join us on Friday, April 16th, 2021 at Columbia College for an afternoon of food, music, and community. Funds raised will support student teachers in our Child Development Center and Child Development students with their education and development as future educators.
This fundraiser will support:

Contribute to a Scholarship Fund
Child Development students, past and present, access to permit funding
The Columbia College Child Development Center provides an opportunity for Columbia College Students to gain valuable hands-on experience working with children while studying child development, liberal studies, and other related fields. The center prepares students to become professionals as they learn to provide children with quality care and build relationships with their families. This is a remarkable privilege for students to work and study in our award-winning
infant, toddler, and preschool classrooms.
The Center is a licensed, state-funded center that provides free or reduced-cost child high quality care and education to families in our community. The State Department of Education requires publicly funded programs such as ours
to hire Early Care and Education Teachers with Child Development Permits issued through the Commission on Teacher Credentialing.
With the support of our community, our Student Teachers and Child Development students will be able to obtain their Child Development Teaching Permits. We hope you will consider attending to our
fourth annual Tea Party fundraiser.
